Chapter 27 Those damn robbers dared to steal my pig?
In Terraria, enemies can open doors, but they can only push them inwards, not pull them outwards. So, if you put something behind a door, they won't be able to open it.
Although the torch looks small, it is actually judged as a complete block.
Mana didn't understand. Was this some kind of magical principle being explained?

Outside the village, the night was thick with fog.
After observing the village from the entrance, Terfrey and his men entered the village.
The other robbers scattered to check for any ambushes.
however.
"No ambush?" Trevor wondered.
"That's enough."
A large white pig was sleeping in front of a house near the village entrance.
Trevor concealed his presence and crept up behind the pig. With a swift stroke, the pig's head rolled to the ground, all without making a sound.
He cut open the pig's belly, and there really was something yellow inside.
But that was definitely not gold.
Trevor wasn't surprised; it was within his expectations. His main purpose in coming down the mountain was simply to eliminate these two threatening lackeys of the Papacy.
"Carry the pig back."
"Boss, behind you!" The henchman carrying the pig suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"I know."
Trevor had already realized that someone was watching him from behind.
"So, this pig was indeed bait. But priest, you couldn't find our camp, so you used this method to lure me out. Have you thought about what will happen afterward?"
Trevor turned around.
A pair of eyes stared at him, their eyes meeting.
But those are not human eyes.
Those eyes weren't attached to anyone's head, and judging by their size, they could probably only fit into the skull of a giant.
His eyeballs hovered in mid-air like fish swimming in water, staring at Terfrey. His whites were bloodshot, and his pupils contracted and dilated repeatedly, with severed blood vessels surrounding his optic nerve trailing behind him.
Soon, the eyeballs moved and hurtled straight toward Trevor.
Trevor quickly activated his stealth ability to conceal his presence and rolled away.
However, the floating eyeball could still see him and followed closely.
"Those big eyes! Damn it!" Trevor turned around and kicked, but he was the one who was thrown back by the impact.
Faced with the unstoppable onslaught of the eerie eyeball, Tefrey swung the dagger from his waist, striking the eyeball and knocking it back a distance, giving himself enough space to get up.
Trevor stood up and looked around.
One eyeball is strange enough.
But at this moment, these eyeballs can be seen everywhere in the sky above the village.
The ground is not peaceful either.
One by one, zombies with bluish-gray skin appeared out of nowhere and walked towards him.
These zombies were all female without exception, with hot figures, but their faces were completely monstrous. Some had arrows stuck in their heads, some had their wobbly brains sticking out, and some were holding the arms of their own kind.
Having fought as an adventurer for so many years, Tefrey had never seen anything like it.
This has never appeared around this village before... Could it be the necromancy of those two adventurers?!
"Damn it! Weren't they supposed to be Vatican personnel? A bunch of blasphemers!"
Trevor was able to fight and retreat, but his men didn't have his hard-earned skills and were completely powerless to resist. Several robbers were hit by the eyeballs and ended up as a pile of mangled flesh on the ground.
Even worse were the villagers, who were chased by these monsters and screamed as they were smashed to pieces.
From a distance, it was impossible to tell who the robbers were and who the villagers were. He even saw his men joining forces with the villagers to fight the eyeball monster.
Trevor cursed, "What kind of adventurers are these? What kind of papal envoys? They're crazier than me! What are they protecting anyway?"
"Boss, save me!"
"Hey! Aren't you robbers? You have weapons, don't you? Kill them!"
"ah--!"
All night long, the village was filled with screams of agony.
As dawn broke, all fell silent.
Terra walked out of the village chief's house, and the surrounding enemies had lost their aggro and left.
Not far away, villagers who died at night kept respawning.
The ground in the village was littered with copper and silver coins scattered by the dead bandits and monsters, including the shackles dropped by zombies that could add 1 defense.
The village chief knelt on the ground, speechless for a long time.
Terra picked up all the dropped items and returned to the matchbox respawn point at the village entrance.
I discovered that my piggy bank is missing!
"Can the NPCs still carry items in the new version? Those damn bandits dare to steal my pig?!"

In the early hours of the morning, the Adventurers' Guild in Mi City was brightly lit.
The lizardman Ragon 1 pushed open the door and entered the hall, looking around before walking to the counter and tapping on the table.
"Stella, have you seen Mana 1?"
The waitress was having a late-night snack and playing cards with her colleagues who were on the night shift when she suddenly saw a huge shadow looming over her. She looked up and saw that it was someone she knew.
"Couldn't you address me as 'Miss'? Miss Mana went with Terra to complete a commission this afternoon, I'm paying JQK."
"Just the two of them? What kind of commission? Whose name is on the commission form?"
"We signed with your Battlemage Mother Squad and Terra. An old villager said his pig was stolen by bandits and he wants us to help find it."
"You think you can get your money back after being robbed by bandits? What, tie the bandits up in the village toilet and let them pull you out to return you to the villagers?" Lagong 1 laughed, but after only two laughs, his chest wound started to hurt again.
"I'm still eating, can you stop being so disgusting? What do you want with her?" Stella, the receptionist, frowned, took a bottle of healing potion from under the counter and placed it on the table. "2 silver coins and 80 copper coins."
Ragon1 took the potion and drank a few sips: "Don't even mention it. I found one of the swindlers who sold me the fake information in the south of the city. Turns out, there were several mages there. We couldn't beat them, so we came to ask Mana1 and Terra for help."
"Don't make too much of a scene. The guild leader might not be able to protect you. Besides, I'm the receptionist who posts commissions to adventurers every day. Aren't you afraid that I'm in cahoots with those peddlers who sell fake information by telling me this?"
"Miss Stella is so upright and kind, how could she possibly be the kind of person who colludes with information brokers to make money?" Ragon 1 quickly added when he saw another girl playing cards with Stella glare at him, "Oh, Miss Stasia isn't either."
Stella snorted, "She's no good! I was playing cards with her when that old man came, and she switched my cards while I was entertaining him! I pointed it out, but she wouldn't admit it."
"Stella looks so cute when she's angry," Stasia chuckled, cupping her face in her hands.
"Playing cards is normal. Which village did Mana and the others go to?"
"It's not your money that's being lost. That commission in the west of the city can't be completed in a day or two. I bet the old man will try to make excuses when it comes time to pay. You'd be better off finding an adventurer who's available right now."
"None of them are up to the task; I don't trust them."
After finding out where Mana1 and Terra were, Ragon1 paid for the potion, left the Adventurers' Guild, went to the city gate to find Ash1, who was on duty that day, to sign the entry and exit record, and then went to the village to the west.
Lagon 1 desperately needs Terra and Mana 1's help right now. He originally thought Mana 1 didn't need to go; he could handle all this messy stuff himself.
Unexpectedly, that information broker was colluding with black market antique dealers, making things so complicated.
Lagon 1 had previously taken on a mission with the dwarf to kill bandits. This kind of mission was very time-consuming, and it would be even more troublesome if the bandits had previously been adventurers. He needed to go and help as soon as possible, and then the three of them would go together to deal with those information brokers in the trenches.
Given his pace, he should be able to reach the village by morning. Terra and Mana 1 would probably be on their way to find the bandits' hideout by then. His keen sense of smell could be of help.
After traveling day and night, Lagon finally arrived at the village in the morning.
However, the scene in the village took him by surprise.
A large number of corpses lay scattered throughout the village; some looked like villagers, others like robbers. After a while, the corpses vanished into thin air. In their place, several villagers began to appear out of nowhere throughout the village.
"What exactly happened?"
