Chapter 1324: So He’s Single!

Chapter 1324: So He’s Single!

"She was with another man, I saw it with my own eyes!" Janelle Mills complained.Jocelyn Morgan stood quietly on the side, neither explaining nor refuting. She had explained so much earlier that her throat was about to dry up.

Trevor calmly put away his phone. Janelle Mills watched his expression, hoping he would explode.

But his eyes, calm like a deep well, looked apologetically at Jocelyn, "I’m sorry, I didn’t explain our relationship clearly to her in time, which caused you trouble."

Janelle Mills was completely confused by this. She furrowed her brow and looked at him, then at her!

"It’s okay." Jocelyn spoke softly, showing understanding. She glanced at the girl beside her and then said to Trevor, "It’s not too late for you to explain to her now, to avoid further misunderstandings."

The situation felt a bit like... Jocelyn was the third party, even she felt awkward about it.

Trevor wouldn’t make her feel embarrassed.

So, right in front of her, Trevor looked at Janelle Mills and explained unnecessarily, "She’s not my girlfriend, I just didn’t want to go on a blind date, so I used her as a shield."

Hearing this, Janelle Mills widened her eyes suddenly, feeling the scenario was quite familiar!

"You have a thing for this?" She looked at Trevor with a peculiar expression, "Is this your usual trick? Use an irrelevant woman as a shield?"

Trevor understood her implication; she must have thought about that time with Demi.

Jocelyn wasn’t sure what they were talking about, usual trick?

But she felt Trevor had already explained it well, so she looked up at him, "I have to go, I have an interview to write today."

"Okay." Trevor nodded, then watched her leave.

Cecilia Dunn didn’t step forward from the beginning to the end.

Janelle Mills breathed a sigh of relief, looking at the girl’s back, thinking, so she wasn’t his girlfriend after all!

So he’s single now? Janelle Mills couldn’t be happier!

Trevor gazed at the smiling girl, "Weren’t you in Korland? Why are you back in Riventhal?"

"Didn’t I just miss you?" Janelle, in a good mood, spoke the truth playfully, wanting to see how he would react.

"Miss!"

Both Trevor and Janelle turned to see a taxi driver sticking his head out the window, "Miss! You haven’t paid the fare yet!"

Janelle was embarrassed; her phone was dead, and she didn’t have cash on her.

Trevor looked at her and, without asking anything, walked straight to the taxi.

Simon and Cecilia Dunn were quite surprised to see Mr. Trevino take out his wallet and help the girl pay the fare. So who is she? To make the CEO delay for so long.

Is it Janelle?

This guess appeared in both Simon and Cecilia Dunn’s minds simultaneously, but neither dared to confirm it.

Janelle wasn’t embarrassed at all; she waited for Trevor to finish paying and come over, feeling quite happy because that girl wasn’t Trevor’s girlfriend!

So he’s single, right?

This is fantastic!

The guy she likes is single!

In the morning light, Trevor walked towards her once more, seeing her full of smiles, as if immersed in her own world, "What’s so funny? Causing a scene so early in the morning, dragging someone else along, without even an apology."

The girl’s smile faded as she looked up at him!

Trevor noticed she hadn’t washed her hair; it was a bit messy, her clothes a bit... overall she looked as if she was travel-worn, dusty and gritty.

"Did you just get off the plane?" Trevor furrowed his brow slightly.

Janelle nodded, "Yeah!"

Trevor asked again, "Did you sneak over? Didn’t bring any luggage?"

"Didn’t even bring a charger, just bought one, but the phone’s dead again," she answered honestly, "Luckily, the passport is in my pocket."

Trevor stood tall and nodded somewhat speechlessly, "And you haven’t had breakfast?"

The girl’s stomach did gurgle a bit, "Mr. Trevino, spare some food please!"
